As the ’08 season comes to an end, we would love to hear any ideas or plans you may have for next year. If you would like to plan & implement an activity please see Mary Jo and Floy.
Looking ahead: COVERED DISH DINNER 9/06/08: This Saturday we are having a covered dish dinner at 6PM @ the pavilion (Sales office if the weather is bad). Please bring your own tableware & enough food to share with your family plus six (6) others.
CHILI COOK OFF, AIR SHOW 9/13/08: Chili Cook-off at the Snack Bar. Make your own recipe for a prize. If you choose not to cook but you still want to eat its $1.50 per bowl. Also this weekend the Front Royal Airport will be hosting an Airstravaganza with a flying circus, hot air balloons and many more activities, we should be able to view quite a show from the resort or you can go to the airport and check the show out yourself, ask for details in the office.
END OF SUMMER OPEN HOUSE AND RV SALE 9/20/08: Our sales office personnel will be hosting an End of Summer Open House and RV Sale featuring Reines RV Center of Manassas. Appearing will be Q102 radio station & Reines RV Center of Manassas will have RV’s here for everyone to look at. Our own Robert Jenkins will be spinning the music during throughout the day. Activities will be featured during the day, i.e., Horseshoes, Holey board, Kid’s Mini Golf, Softball and More.
HALLOWEEN HAUNTED HOUSE October: Halloween Haunted House: Friday, Oct. 24 – Saturday, Oct. 25 and again Friday, Oct. 31 – Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008. Also, on the weekend of the 31st we will have trick or treat in the campground.
THANKSGIVING DINNER November: Thanksgiving Dinner, Saturday, November 29 at 2PM. SRR will provide Turkey, Dressing, Gravy and Drinks, bring a covered dish and your own tableware (plates and flatware) you can sign up @ the office to bring your favorite food item. After dinner we will be decorating the Club House for Christmas, so bring your jingle bells.
